Five unique levels of calibration verification material are provided with each product to allow for complete monitoring of that specific test system’s reportable range, as defined by the manufacturer.
CLIA regulations require that laboratories perform calibration verification at least every six months (semi-annually) as the procedure plays a significant part in ensuring that patient test results reported by all moderately complex testing methods are accurate throughout the reportable range for each test system.
